> What Proofie does

Proofie is automated software. It asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity what your buyers ask, shows what they say and where they get it from, and helps you fix it. Here is each part.

## Citations: which sources AI uses, and whether yours is one

When an AI app answers a buyer's question, it reads pages first. Proofie shows which sites it read and cited, and whether your own site was among them.

- The searches the AI app ran for each question.
- The sites it cited, grouped as your site, a named competitor's site, Reddit, review sites, marketplaces, retailers, media, forums and video.
- How often your site is cited compared with your competitors' sites.

## Agent runs: can an AI shopping agent use your site?

Proofie sends AI shopping agents to your site to find a product, read the price and add it to the cart, and records every step.

- Where each agent got stuck, for example on a pop-up, a price loaded by a script or a product option it could not pick.
- A recording of each run, so you can see the step where it stopped.
- Agents stop before checkout. They never type personal or payment details and never place an order.
- Runs only when you tick the box to allow it.

## Proof of fix: test a fix before you change your site

Before you change anything, Proofie tests the fix on a copy of your pages and asks the question again, so you can see whether the answer changes.

- Wrong facts: Proofie takes the pages the AI app read, corrects the wrong value on a copy, and asks the same question again with only those pages as sources. It counts how many answers still state the wrong value, before and after.
- Agent fixes: agents run on your site as it is and on a copy with the fix applied, and Proofie compares how many reached the product and the price.
- Each result is labelled proven, suggestive, no clear effect or not testable. Some fixes cannot be tested this way, and the report says so.
- A test on a copy shows the likely effect of the fix. It does not promise what AI apps will say after you ship it.

## Proofie Coach: your coding agent makes the fixes

## How Coach works: Five tracks, always in this order

Every Coach session starts by showing your agent these five tracks and the next step to take.

1. **Fix**: Your agent works through the fixes in your report, with the evidence, a playbook and a check for each, and proof of fix where your plan has it.
2. **Create**: Page-writing guides, and new pages for the questions AI apps answer without naming you.
