Proofie Privacy Policy

Who we are
Proofie (tryproofie.com) is run by Naman Goyal, an individual based in Chandigarh, India ("we", "us"). Proofie is automated software. It asks AI apps the questions buyers ask and produces a report on whether a business is found, described correctly, and whether AI agents can use its website. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Your email address, to send your free test, your report and sign-in links.
- The website address you enter and the business details you give us.
- A hashed (scrambled) version of your IP address, to limit how many free tests one person can run. We do not keep your raw IP address for this.
- Bot check data from Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are a person.
- Order records: plan, price, currency, payment status. We do not see or store your card or bank details. Dodo Payments handles the payment.
- Report data: the questions we asked AI apps, their answers, the sources they cited, and our results.
- AI agent session logs and screenshots (top plan only): what the agents saw and did on your website.
- Basic server logs (time, page requested, country) to keep the site running and secure.
Proofie is for businesses and for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Why we use it, and our legal basis

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Some of these companies are outside India, mainly in the United States. Data may be transferred and processed there. We transfer data only as Indian law allows, and for EU visitors we rely on the safeguards these providers offer (such as standard contractual clauses). We have not appointed a representative in the EU or UK.
How long we keep it
- Raw agent recordings and client logs: deleted after 30 days.
- Raw visit data for our own site: deleted after 90 days. Daily totals are kept.
- Report links: expire after 12 months. You can revoke a link at any time.
- Agent clips, traces and report data: kept 12 months, then deleted.
- After a subscription ends: your dashboard and reports stay readable for 90 days, with no new data. The data behind them follows the 12-month rule above.
- Payment and tax records: as long as the law requires.
- Account data: until you ask us to delete it, or until you delete your account.
Your rights
Everyone can ask us to: see the data we hold about them, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not undo past processing, and we may then be unable to run a report.
- India: under the DPDP Act 2023 you can also nominate someone to act for you, and complain to our Grievance Officer. If not satisfied, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.
- EU and UK: you can also object, restrict processing, ask for a copy in a portable format, and complain to your local data protection authority.
- California: you can know what we collect, ask for deletion and correction, and you will not be treated differently for using your rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and keep the site secure. We do not use advertising tools. The only third-party script on our pages is Cloudflare Turnstile, the bot check on our forms.
How we measure visits
We measure visits to our site with our own tool, without cookies. We record which pages you view, which parts of a page you reach, the buttons and outside links you click, the site or campaign that sent you, your type of device and browser, and your country. We never record what you type or the rest of the web address. A visitor is counted by a code made from your IP address and browser that changes every day, and we never store your IP address. If you sign up or sign in, we link your visits from that day, and later visits while you are signed in, to your account. We keep the raw visit data for 90 days and the daily totals for longer. We never sell this data or use it for advertising. To have your visit data deleted, email [email protected].
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. We limit who can access it, keep secrets out of our code, and delete what we no longer need. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Websites we test
When our AI agents visit a website on the top plan, they only browse. They never place orders and never type payment or personal details. They may see personal data that the site itself shows publicly; we do not extract or use it.
Changes
We will post changes here and update the date. For important changes we will email account holders.
