Proofie Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Proofie (tryproofie.com) is run by Naman Goyal, an individual based in Chandigarh, India ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected]. By using Proofie you agree to these terms.

2. What Proofie is

Proofie is automated software. It asks AI apps (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity, through their official APIs with web search) the questions buyers ask, and shows on your dashboard whether your business is found, described correctly, and whether AI agents can use your website. While you are subscribed it asks again every week and updates your dashboard. No person audits your business. Your results are produced by software.

3. What Proofie does not promise

• AI answers change from run to run. Your dashboard and reports show what we measured at that time, with the uncertainty stated.
• We do not promise more traffic, sales, rankings or mentions. The report shows what to change and what was tested.
• We do not control OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity or any other AI provider.

4. Accounts

You sign in with a link sent to your email (Google sign-in may be added). You must be at least 18, give a real email, and keep access to it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

5. Free test

One free test per person, with limits by email and IP address. We may refuse or stop free tests that look automated or abusive.

6. Subscriptions

• Proofie is sold as a subscription for one website, billed monthly or yearly. The plans, what each includes and the prices are on the pricing page.
• Prices are shown in US dollars or Indian rupees, based on your country. Taxes may be added at checkout.
• Your billing month starts when your first payment is confirmed. Proofie runs your questions on that day and then every 7 days: 4 weekly runs in each billing month. Your first results usually arrive within 12 hours. A yearly plan is paid once a year and split into 12 billing months, each with 4 weekly runs.
• Your questions stay the same for the whole billing month, so the weeks can be compared. They change only at the start of a billing month, when you edit them.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing month (or year, on a yearly plan) and the price of your plan is charged to the payment method you used, until you cancel. A new billing month starts once its payment is confirmed.
• Indian payments. Renewals paid by UPI or an Indian card use an RBI e-mandate. They can settle up to 2 days after the renewal date, and the first weekly run of that month starts when the payment arrives. Where a renewal is above the RBI limit for automatic debits (INR 15,000), your bank asks you to approve each renewal.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, the payment provider tries again for 3 days. Weekly runs pause after those 3 days until the payment succeeds, and Proofie Coach stops working.
• How to cancel. You can cancel at any time in Billing, or by emailing [email protected] from the address on your account. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing month (or year) you have paid for. Your weekly runs continue until then and you are not charged again. After that, your dashboard and reports stay readable for 90 days, with no new data, and Proofie Coach stops working.
• Changing plans. An upgrade applies straight away: you pay the difference for the rest of the current billing month, and the new plan's questions start from the next weekly run. A downgrade applies from the next billing month.
• If a weekly run fails on our side, we run it again, at no cost, until your weekly update is ready.
• There are no refunds on subscriptions, except as our Refund Policy says.
• Payment is handled by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record. That means Dodo is the seller on your receipt, takes the payment and handles sales tax, VAT or GST. Dodo's terms also apply to the payment.
• One-time reports bought before subscriptions began keep the terms that applied when they were bought.

7. Websites you ask us to test

You may only submit a website you own or are allowed to act for.

On the plan that includes AI agents:

• AI agents from Anthropic, Google and OpenAI browse your website like a shopper, up to the checkout page.
• They never place an order and never type payment or personal details.
• You confirm that you are allowed to authorise this testing on the website, and that it does not break any agreement you have (for example with your host or platform).
• Agents may add items to a cart. You agree we are not responsible for carts, analytics events or stock holds this causes.

8. Answer proof

Answer proof tests suggested fixes on a copy of your page inside our own system. It does not change your live website. You decide whether to make any change.

9. Acceptable use

Do not: submit sites you have no right to test; try to break, overload or reverse engineer Proofie; get around limits or bot checks; resell reports as an audit done by people; or use Proofie for anything illegal.

10. Your content and our content

• You keep all rights to your website and business information. You let us use it only to produce and deliver your results.
• AI answers in the report come from third-party AI providers. We do not claim they are accurate.
• Your dashboard and reports are yours to use and share inside your business. Proofie's software, design and methods stay ours.
• We may use anonymised, combined figures (never naming you) to improve Proofie.

11. Report links

Report links expire after 12 months. You can revoke a link at any time. Anyone with the link can view the report until then, so share it with care.

12. Liability

Proofie is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows:

• We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, sales or data.
• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the billing month (or, for a one-time report, the report) the claim relates to.

Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

13. Ending use

You can cancel your subscription and ask us to delete your account at any time. Deleting your account also cancels your subscription. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Chandigarh, India have jurisdiction. Please email us first; most problems are solved that way.

15. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and email account holders about important changes.
